At its core, I-House is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to developing globally-minded leaders committed to peaceful cross-cultural dialogue. What truly distinguishes I-House from a traditional dorm are the transformative learning experiences, programming, and community engagement opportunities available to every resident. These are what we agree to when we sign our Resident Membership Agreement.

The Resident Council has created an automated calendar system that pulls events directly from the weekly Happenings emails. Once you subscribe, new events will automatically appear in your personal calendar. Hopefully this makes the spring semester an engaging time for all residents.

We encourage all residents to take full advantage of these programs. Our focus as a council is on helping your experience engaging with the educational mission and community building that make this place special and different from a traditional dorm. We're here to advocate for residents and advise in the spirit of partnership with residents and the administration. It's about working together to champion the experiences that bring this community together.
